In an effort to support the charitable work of local organizations that serve the areas of Suffolk Federal branch locations, the credit union has identified nonprofit organizations to provide financial support to. In Sayville, Branch Manager Pamela Werner presents a $1,000 contribution to Mercy Center Ministries.
“Mercy Center Ministries is an amazing organization providing the tools and resources to young women in our community in need,” said Werner. Donations like this make such a difference, giving them an opportunity they may not have had elsewhere to succeed. At Suffolk Federal, we are extremely proud to make this donation in support of their incredible efforts.”
“Since our inception, the community has been so generous to us,” said Briana Taylor, LMSW and Executive Director of Mercy Center Ministries. “Our three shelters require constant upkeep. This donation from Suffolk Federal will assist us in making a costly repair to a staircase at our Patchogue shelter. The timing of this donation couldn’t be better! I was really impressed to hear of Suffolk Federal’s commitment to local charities, and so grateful the Sayville branch chose our agency this year.”
