The Annual Meeting of the members of Suﬀolk Federal will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the credit union’s Medford oﬃce located at 3681 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY 11763.
The voting for the election of oﬃcers will be conducted by ballot. However, if there is only one nominee for each position to be ﬁlled, the election will not be conducted by mail ballot. The ballot will be mailed to all eligible members by Sunday, April 21, 2019. For your vote to be counted, your ballot must be received by the Tellers of Election by Thursday, May 16, 2019. To be eligible to vote, you must be 16 years of age and have a minimum balance in your share account of $5 as of Thursday, May 16, 2019.
Nominations for the election may be made by petition. The petition must be signed by one percent of the members who are eligible to vote (minimum 600) and received by 5:00pm Thursday, April 11, 2019. The petition must be accompanied by a signed certiﬁcate from the nominee stating that he or she will serve if elected to oﬃce. Nominees by petition must also include a statement of qualiﬁcations and biographical data. There can be no more than one nominee per petition. The full slate of all candidates running for a seat on the Board of Directors will be posted in all credit union oﬃces by Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
