Suffolk Federal is proud to announce the promotion of Debra Kaminski to Assistant Vice President of Collections and Loan Portfolio Analysis. In this position, Kaminski is responsible for overseeing all collection activity, evaluating analytics of Suffolk Federal’s loan portfolio and managing loss mitigation processes and the loan workout program, helping members struggling financially to maintain home ownership. She manages the OREO portfolio, foreclosure activity, property maintenance and vacant property requirements and provides leadership, mentoring and training to the Collections department. Kaminski has implemented new process controls and procedures, which have improved efficiencies and positive change and cost savings, along with leading the implementation of several high-profile projects. Kaminski joined Suffolk Federal in 2013 as Director of Collections. Prior to joining Suffolk Federal, she was employed at Standard Microsystems Corporation in Hauppauge as the Senior Manager Corporate Credit and Assistant Treasurer. Kaminski is a graduate of Dowling College where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance. She additionally earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Nassau Community College. She personally supports nonprofit organizations that lead the way in research for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease).
