Suffolk Federal Marks 50th Anniversary by “Celebrating & Doing Good”

50th IconSuffolk Federal is celebrating its 50th anniversary of outstanding service to its members and has plenty of fun-filled activities, community outreach and events planned during 2017 to mark this landmark occasion. One of those special events is a Celebrate & Do Good promotion which takes place for nine months at each one of Suffolk Federal’s local branches. The promotion will benefit Long Island Cares, the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Founded by the late Harry Chapin, Long Island Cares brings together all available resources for the benefit of the hungry and food insecure on Long Island and provides for the humanitarian needs of local communities.

“We are excited to celebrate our 50th Anniversary throughout this year. Our ‘Celebrate & Do Good’ promotion is one of the many programs planned which provides a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate while making a difference for others in Suffolk County,” explained Ralph D. Spencer, Jr., President and CEO, Suffolk Federal. “Hunger is a big problem here on Long Island. Supporting the humanitarian efforts which Long Island Cares is involved with while celebrating our anniversary with this promotion was a perfect way for Suffolk Federal to make a difference for our members and neighbors by assisting with the great work of this dynamic organization.”

For only a $5 donation, members are invited to stop by their local branch to receive a raffle ticket with which they can win $500.* The promotion will take place during the dates listed below at the following Suffolk Federal branch locations:
