The Annual Meeting of the members of Suffolk Federal will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the credit union’s Medford office located at 3681 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY 11763.
The voting for the election of officers will be conducted by ballot. However, if there is only one nominee for each position to be filled, the election will not be conducted by mail ballot. The ballot will be mailed to all eligible members by Sunday, April 23, 2017. For your vote to be counted, your ballot must be received by the Tellers of Election by Thursday, May 18, 2017. To be eligible to vote, you must be 16 years of age and have a minimum balance in your share account of $5 as of Thursday, May 18, 2017.

The petition must be signed by one percent of the members who are eligible to vote (minimum 500) and received by 5:00pm Thursday, April 13, 2017. The petition must be accompanied by a signed certificate from the nominee stating that he or she will serve if elected to office. Nominees by petition must also include a statement of qualifications and biographical data. There can be no more than one nominee per petition. The full slate of all candidates running for a seat on the Board of Directors will be posted in all credit union offices by April 18, 2017.
