In an effort to support the charitable work of local organizations that serve the areas of Suffolk Federal branch locations, the credit union has identified nonprofit organizations to provide financial support to. In Commack, Branch Manager Gail DiGiacomo presents a $1,000 contribution to The Commack Fire Department.
“I am so humbled to be able to support our local firemen on behalf of Suffolk Federal, and honor the late Master Sergeant Christopher Raguso who volunteered his time to this community,” said DiGiacomo. “Chris was a true hero in the Commack Fire Department and knowing the donation will help to train future heroes in his honor is just incredible.”
“The donation from Suffolk Federal is amazing and will not go unnoticed by the 150 firemen here at the department,” said Patrick Fazio, Chairman of the Board of the Commack Fire Department. “In the honor of the late Christopher Raguso, this donation will be a great benefit to our training program and serve as a memorial to his legacy.”
