“Celebrate and Do Good” campaign continues to help fight hunger on Long Island

As part of Suffolk Federal’s 50th anniversary of exceptional service to its members, the credit union continues to host its “Celebrate & Do Good” campaign through October. For a $5 donation, members will receive a contest raffle ticket with which they can win $500. All donations collected will benefit Long Island Cares, the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Members are invited to stop by Suffolk Federal to participate and can find the monthly event schedule at www.suffolkfcu.org/celebrate-do-good to determine when their local branch is hosting the contest.

David Tricamo—a Suffolk Federal member of more than 30 years and winner of the March contest—generously donated his winnings back to Long Island Cares and provided a ‘thank you’ breakfast to the team at his local branch in Islandia.

“This branch in particular has treated me exceptionally well,” said Tricamo of the Islandia team. I just wanted to do something nice for them as well as something nice for other people in the community that are not as fortunate as myself. I wanted to give back and this was the perfect opportunity.”
