CERTIFICATE ACCOUNTS
A Certificate Account is a term investment offering a guaranteed dividend rate to maturity.  Certificate Accounts provide higher yields on funds invested for six months to five years.  With a minimum opening amount of $500, the dividend is calculated on a day of deposit/day of withdrawal basis using the daily balance method and credited monthly.

IRA ACCOUNTS
Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) are authorized by the Federal Government and provide tax benefits to eligible members to help accumulate their funds for their retirement.  SFCU offers an IRA Share Account in addition to IRA Certificate Accounts.  An IRA Share Account can be opened with a minimum of $50.  The dividend is calculated on a day of deposit/day of withdrawal basis and credited monthly.

An IRA Certificate Account provides higher yields on funds invested from six months to five years with a minimum opening amount of $500.  The dividend is calculated on a day of deposit/day of withdrawal basis using the daily balance method and credited monthly.  Dividends are credited monthly and can be transferred to an IRA Share Account if previously arranged.
